BCI is a specialty services provider for Early Intervention Services in Central Massachusetts. The services are designed to assist your infant or toddler (birth to age three) to make significant strides in his or her development. These services are targeted, evidence-based, and tailored to your child’s needs.
Because we practice the proven methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), each session is play-based and geared toward things that motivate your child to learn. We also work with you, the parents, to help your child reach important milestones.
Specialty Early Intervention Services include:
- Assessment: We assess your child’s functional and behavioral capabilities. This thorough assessment enables us – and you – to design therapies that will fuel their developmental growth.
- Clinical design: Using the detailed assessment, we work with you, the parents, to develop objectives and strategies for helping your child reach his or her goals. We also design a program for you to support behavioral changes in your child day in and day out.
- Consultation: We teach all the people in your child’s life — daycare providers, preschool teachers, and extended family — to understand your child’s gifts and challenges and how they can help your child be more.
- Transition to school: Our early intervention team will facilitate the transition from Specialty Early Intervention Services to the school system.
Specialty Early Intervention Services are usually provided in the home. In some cases, we can meet with the child at a location convenient for the family such as a child care center.
