A Light It Up Blue celebration, organized by Behavioral Concepts (BCI) of Fitchburg and Worcester, HMEA’s Autism Resource Central of West Boylston, and Fitchburg Mayor Stephen DiNatale’s office will be held at Fitchburg Upper Common Gazebo, 857 Main Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420 on Tuesday, April 5, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
April is National Autism Awareness Month, and the public is invited to gather on Fitchburg Common for a celebratory lighting of the gazebo which has been adorned with blue lights representing autism advocacy and awareness. Light It Up Blue on Fitchburg Common is part of the international Light It Up Blue Celebration to increase understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
