As a parent or caregiver, you are your child’s first and most essential teacher. At BCI, part of LEARN Behavioral, we partner with you to build skills and strategies to increase your child’s socially significant behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors. We emphasize age-appropriate social skills, communication skills, and adaptive living skills—all within the comfort and structure of your child’s home.
From the moment we enter your home, we serve as your teammate, using ABA therapy to work with you to assess your child’s individual strengths and needs and to identify areas for improvement and growth. Then, we focus on socially significant behaviors, which include social skills, communication, and adaptive living skills (gross and fine motor skills, eating, toileting, and dressing).
When ready, we encourage community involvement. This can involve outings to a library, park, restaurant, or grocery store, where we work with children to practice skills like waiting in line, taking turns, and ordering and paying for food. In these and other community settings, we use ABA therapy and tailor the activity to support your unique family dynamic and lifestyle.
We consider you, as parents and caregivers, the single-most important factor in your child’s success. That’s why we teach you techniques and strategies to help your child learn and maintain necessary skills. We provide guidance and support so your entire family can make positive changes in both your community and home.
Currently, we offer Home & Community services across Massachusetts, including the central, northeast, northwestern, southeast, and western parts of the state, in addition to southern New Hampshire and southern and central Vermont.
