Comprehensive Autism Evaluations

If you suspect your child has autism, our team can provide a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation using research-based assessment measures.

We Offer Diagnostic Testing

Feeling concerned about your child’s developmental progress can be unsettling, but we’re here to provide you with solutions. Our expertise lies in conducting thorough diagnostic assessments using evidence-based evaluation methods, which can give you clarity on the situation.

That doesn’t mean we always give families an autism diagnosis. It means we offer expertise and honest evaluations to help you figure out your next steps.

Since the pandemic began, waitlists for neurodevelopmental evaluations have grown longer than ever before. That’s why BCI has partnered with psychologists in our community to provide diagnostic testing for children. We are proud to offer comprehensive assessments for children between 14 months and 4 years 11 months of age. Additionally, those under 3 years old who are already receiving early intervention services may be eligible to participate in a remote evaluation if there are concerns regarding an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

At BCI, we understand how important it is for parents to find the most suitable services for your child. We strive to provide comprehensive assessments that go beyond simply looking at a child’s behavior and performance.

All evaluations begin with a clinical interview where we discuss your child’s medical history and developmental background. We often conduct these interviews over Zoom, making it convenient for busy families. When we do in-person evaluations, our psychologists work to assess a range of cognitive, language, motor, social, and adaptive functioning areas. We also follow up with a meeting to review the results.

Our team provides a detailed report of your child’s diagnostic evaluation. With the right treatment and support, we help set you up with a plan for success.
